Salary:

- Unqualified: £25,203.36 per annum / £11.54 per hour (rising to £26,098.80 per annum / £11.95 per hour after probation)
- Qualified: £26,732.16 per annum / £12.24 per hour (based on completion of Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent)

Specific Hours: 20:00pm-8:00am (12-hour shifts)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  
- Ensure the safety and welfare of each child during waking night shifts
- Offer empathy and compassion during night-time activities
- Maintain accurate records using computer systems
- Communicate effectively with out-of-hour services
- Act as a positive role model for colleagues and children
- Follow Area Camden's policies and procedures

Essential Skills Required:

 
- Ability to work as part of a team with energy and enthusiasm
- Experience and knowledge of safeguarding children
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Engagement and listening skills with children
- Organization and planning abilities
- Willingness to work towards relevant qualifications if not held
- Children Workforce Diploma or equivalent
