As a Firmware Engineer within the Industrial Communication team at Schneider Electric's I&T department, you will play a pivotal role in researching and developing next-generation technologies for industrial automation. From evaluating new communication protocols to building proof of concepts for testing TSN standards, you will be at the forefront of innovation in the field.
- Develop prototypes to test new features of the OPC UA protocol.
- Research and investigate new communication protocols.
- Test software components on new platforms with different operating systems and hardware.
- Build proof of concept to test Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) standards.
Education:
- Master's degree in Engineering with an engineering background.
- Fluent in English.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in C language, Ethernet networking, Embedded Systems, Linux, Compilation and Cross-Compilation, Git, and Real-Time OS.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in firmware embedded engineering through apprenticeships or internships.
