Job Summary:

As a Team Lead at Schlumberger, you will lead a small team of technical Cloud Software Engineers focused on a subsystem or sub-element of a larger product cloud software development project. Your responsibilities will include planning, supervising, and coordinating the execution of project tasks to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Additionally, you'll provide technical documentation, monitor team performance, and promote a culture of excellence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise a small team of Cloud Software Engineers
- Plan and organize project tasks in collaboration with the Software Program/Project Manager
- Ensure adherence to the Product Development Process and relevant Standards and Procedures
- Deliver project sub-systems or sub-elements on time and within budget
- Provide technical documentation and support compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards
- Maintain team expertise through training and development initiatives
- Set annual objectives and conduct performance appraisals for the assigned team

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related IT field
- Two years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Cloud Software Engineer or related role
- Experience with cloud-based systems and services deployment
- Proficiency in backend services development, microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with technologies such as MongoDB, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and Python
- Strong communication and leadership skills
