Job Summary:

As a Process Design Engineer at BP, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute technical projects critical for the success of our refining business. From integrity management to energy transition initiatives, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation and excellence in process engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of technical and process engineering scopes for projects
- Support the identification and evaluation of safe, competitive, and robust concepts
- Collaborate with business development teams to prioritize projects within the refinery portfolio
- Provide technical inputs for project work such as schedules, cost estimates, and HSSE studies
- Ensure compliance with engineering practices, codes, and standards
- Foster effective partnerships across multiple locations and disciplines
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering capability within BP

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a process engineer in design or operational roles
- Strong technical competency and understanding of engineering practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with process simulation and engineering software applications preferred
- Familiarity with refining processes and industry standards desirable
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive salary range: $118,000.00 - $218,000.00 per year
