Responsibilities:

As a Vehicle and Mechanical Equipment Technician, you'll be responsible for:
- Carrying out repairs and adjustments on a range of land-based vehicles and equipment used by the RAF.
- Maintaining and repairing specialist airfield support equipment such as ground power units and hydraulic supply units.
- Testing and repairing airfield arrestor systems to ensure aircraft runway safety.
- Examining, maintaining, and repairing specialist airfield support vehicles including refueling bowsers and aircraft loading equipment.

Qualifications and Entry Requirements:

To apply for this apprenticeship, you'll need:
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4 (C) or equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, and an approved Science/Technology-based subject.
- Citizenship of the UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth countries, or holder of a dual UK/other nationality.
- Residency in the UK for at least the past five years, with a minimum of three years considered.
