- Manage a team of up to 10 individual staff members on a flexible shift basis, setting and monitoring objectives, and identifying training needs.
- Oversee the selection and assessment of referrals to the service, managing individual support and care agreements, and maintaining accurate records.
- Lead the development of the service to meet evolving user needs and facilitate transitions for service users when appropriate.
- Recruit, select, and deploy staff effectively, ensuring they are trained and knowledgeable in working with individuals with Autism, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
- Act as the main point of contact for external contacts, families, and internal teams, and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct health and safety checks, review support packages and funding, and collaborate with external agencies and organizations.
- Support personal development by attending training events and upholding Origin's equal opportunities policy.
- Experience managing a team and effectively managing change
- Highly self-aware and dedicated team player
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and issues facing individuals with Autism, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work on a shift basis, including sleep-ins and weekends
